Constanza Castro is a filmmaker born in Mexico City with a Masters in film Producing from The American Film Institute Conservatory. where she received the Jeffrey Katzenberg scholarship. In undergrad she was honored to be the first UNLV student to produce a feature-length film.
Constanza has produced numerous award-winning shorts and music videos that have been featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, Short of the Week, Billboard.com, MTV Clubland, Vice, Nylon.com and have screened at prestigious fests including Austin Film Fest, Atlanta, Sarasota, Napa, Palm Springs, to name a few.
She interned for six months at eOne and Blumhouse. The latter got her a job as assistant to director Karen Moncrieff on the film THE KEEPING HOURS. They’re now producing a project together. She is alumni of the 2016 Tribeca Chanel THROUGH HER LENS program, with a sci-fi project in development. She works in commercials and is developing two features and two pilots.
